One path, many disciplines

From the lecture hall to the recording booth — the common thread is curiosity, and the discipline to finish what I start.

I am a university lecturer and scientist at Islamic Azad University, Science and Research Branch, where I research electronics, telecommunications and radio astronomy. Beyond academic and technical work, I am seriously involved in music, writing and recording under my own name.

As the author of 8 widely cited books and holder of several international patents, I also work as a specialized technology consultant for satellite communication systems — bringing the same rigor to research as I do to songwriting. My background includes experience as a television director across twenty-two years of national broadcast.

I hold a Ph.D. in Management, Engineering & Media, and I’m completing an MBA to sharpen the business side of my work. In 2004 I founded Emdad Gostar Moj, an electronics R&D company where I later became Chairman of the Board.
